Thank you for your inspiration
I have been following Barbara Hagerty's blog, Artiphy the Heart for quite awhile now and she often inspires me to try new things. Her latest post sent me off to organize a mini group from my Book Arts Guild to make 50 books in a year from Alisa Golden's new edition of Making Handmade Books. Today while noodling around I read an old post of hers on another of her blogs, ArtiPhacts. This was a lengthy, very rich post on creating collage. In that post she strongly urged that we not organize our images by subject, but by size. I have always organized my images by subject, of course, but I decided to give her thinking a try. So, I started by pulling out the very small sizes of most of my images. I have created a new small mini-book to hold the new mini collages. The pages measure 2 3/8 x 4 inches.

I'm so happy that you're iinspired by my blog. Thank you for sharing! It means so much to me!
Your collage page is wonderful! I hope you're having fun with the tiny size. Working large was always my favorite, but once I started playing with the tiny pieces, I became addicted. And they're easy to take along to work with when you're out, so they make great field journals, too.
